When I got home today, the first thing I wanted to do was unbox and try the Vita TV, which had just arrived to my place.
I had preordered a Value pack, not because I craved a 8GB memory stick and a PS3 controller, but because that was the only thing in stock at the time.
My wife and kid are home and occupy the living room, so I had to make that video in another room. Apologies for the messy environment, the messy unboxing, the messy sound… but hey, an unboxing video cannot be great unless it looks really unprofessional, right?
The Playstation Vita TV Value Pack ships with a PS3 controller and an 8GB Vita memory card. The Vita TV, for those of you who remember, is a device I had high expectations in when it was first announced.
The Vita TV value pack ships with the following:
- The VitaTV itself
- an 8GB Memory card
- A PS3 Dualshock 3 controller
- A USB cable (for the controller. It is required the first time you boot the console)
- An A/C Adapter
- An HDMI cable
- useless manuals
Enjoy the video:
Once everything is plugged in though, the result is a bit messy, too, to stay on the theme of my unboxing:
